Airy and neat units for a bedside table. Brilliant location just next door to the seafront, eateries and theatre; efficient check-in. For tea or coffee visit More Than Cake nearby.

The staff at oyo oban were really friendly . It's conveniently located near restaurants, a big plus. One standout service was how they helped with local recommendations. I appreciated that too.

The beautiful view from our bay window on the second floor. We only stayed from Friday to Sunday, it was the first time we have ever been to Eastbourne. We will come again. We were so pleased when we saw the excellent view from the bedroom window.

Situation on seafront plus en-suite room
Bedding - mattress worn out- blankets in this age ? should be duvet's in other words the whole bed and bed covers need renewal to modern standards - apart from that the hotel was ok.

Charming, charming, charming
The charming Victorian architecture of this hotel takes you back in time! I loved waking up to a beautiful sea view right from my room. The location is prime, right by the beach and close to good local dining spots!

The hotel's lounging areas were lovely, with large victorian windows letting in plenty of sunshine. It felt both elegant and accessible.

It was cheap and cheerful, right on the seafront and easy to find. Breakfast was superb - possibly the best we have eaten.
Public areas were far too hot although bedroom was OK.
